ThriVinci Slated as Storm Chasers Organization of the Night August 28

ThriVinci (www.thrivinci.org) has been selected to be the Signature Performance Community Organization of the Night at Werner Park on August 28 for the 7:05 p.m. game, which also happens to be Weiner Wednesday during Bark in the Park! Fans will have a chance to learn more about ThriVinci while they cheer on the Omaha Storm Chasers against the Nashville Sounds. Highlights of the game include full-size hot dogs for 25 cents and the chance to take in the ballgame with your pup in the McDonald’s Berm.

ThriVinci invites the community to meet their team of volunteers and learn about upcoming projects to get involved with. For those who can’t make it to the ballpark, visit with a member of the ThriVinci team at their drop-in Volunteer Orientation the following week on September 4, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the UNO Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center, Room 221.

ThriVinci incorporates skills-based volunteerism and board matching to assist in maximizing organizational capacity for local nonprofits. Volunteers use their professional skills in lean management philosophy, skilled expertise, and project management to assist nonprofit projects in achieving their missions.
