The Rose House Launches Efforts for Single Mothers in Omaha, Presents A Big Hat Brunch

New local non-profit, The Rose House (www.therosehouseinc.org), invites you to join them for A Big Hat Brunch on Saturday, May 4. This Kentucky Derby watch party their way of introducing themselves to community. The event will give attendees the opportunity to learn about the organization, hearing their mission and vision directly from the president and founder of The Rose House, TaRae Peoples. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Trouvaille Omaha, 1104 S. 76th Ave. Guests will enjoy refreshments, brunch, and entertainment. TaRae founded The Rose House as an organization for single mothers and their children. As a woman who was a single mother, she relates to the struggle and insecurities that single motherhood brings, but knows there is a way through and out. This organization provides basic life skills and employment training, temporary housing, and mental health support, as well as self-empowerment tools to assist in the life transformations of these families.
