Mayor Getzschman and The Hope Center Board Challenge Baby Huey’s to BBQ Contest

The Hope Center for Kids (www.hopecenterforkids.com) hopes it will be the big winner of the first ever Fremont Cookout BBQ Master competition.

The contestants, Fremont Mayor Scott Getzschman, The Hope Center for Kids Board of Directors and Baby Huey’s Smoking Team will vie for the Fremont Cookout BBQ Master Trophy Saturday, June 18. Attendees will get to eat the contestants’ creations and vote for their favorite BBQ Master.  Proceeds from the event will support the life-transforming programs for youth and children at The Hope Fremont.

Voter (attendee) registration and the silent auction begin at 4 p.m. Dinner will be at 5 p.m. and a short program will conclude the event at 6:30. This family-friendly event will include outdoor games, a silent auction and more. Tours of The Hope Fremont will be given throughout the evening.
