In loving memory of the founders, Ty and Terri Schenzel, The Hope Center for Kids invites you to The Heart of Hope Gala (hopecenterforkids.betterworld.org)— a tribute to their vision and a celebration of 27 years of inspiring hope in the lives of youth and children through education, employability, collaboration and faith.

Together with the honorary chairs, The Schenzel Family, they welcome you to this meaningful evening hosted at the beautiful Zenia Omaha. Guests will enjoy a night filled with music, inspiration and a shared commitment to continuing the legacy that Ty and Terri so passionately began.

The Heart of Hope Gala will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on September 19, located at Zenia Omaha at 450 S. 193rd St.,Omaha, NE 68022.

Join them for an inspiring evening with keynote speaker, Ron Smith—a powerful advocate for youth and families impacted by gun and gang violence. Once entrenched in street life, Ron turned his life around at 30 and has spent over 20 years serving North Omaha. He now leads prevention efforts at the Douglas County Youth Center, mentoring youth involved in gun and gang activity. A licensed Mediator and Family Support Provider, Ron’s story is one of redemption, service and hope.

“If you can’t hear the cries of the heart of a youth when they are hurting, you can’t help the heart of a youth when they are healed.”

Your support of The Hope Center for Kids keeps the heartbeat of Ty and Terri’s vision alive–nurturing young hearts with safety, opportunity and hope that will endure for generations.
