The Council Bluffs Community Education Foundation will host “Tee It Up for Education,” its annual golf fundraiser, on July 17 at Shoreline Golf Course in Carter Lake, IA. Tee off is set for 12:30 p.m. Registration is first come, first served and must be completed by July 10. Entry is $80 per person. The Council Bluffs Community Education Foundation’s mission is to provide support to individuals and families in ways that contribute to their ability to learn. This mission is accomplished through cooperation with the Council Bluffs Community Schools and other local organizations. The Foundation provides scholarships to graduating seniors, Teacher Classroom Grants, Teacher and Staff Support Recognition, Kids & Company Before and School Program, The CB School Alumni Association, and the STARS Scholarship Program for adults returning to school to obtain their degree.
