The Assistance League® of Omaha Funds Programs with Thrift Shop Sales

The Assistance League® of Omaha (ALO; www.alomaha.org) invites shoppers to visit their thrift shop, located at 36th and Leavenworth St. One hundred percent of the ALO Thrift Shop’s net proceeds help fund philanthropic programs serving adults and children in the Greater Omaha area such as ALO’s signature program, Operation School Bell®, in which over 4,000 children from area schools are given the opportunity to shop for new clothes each year.

The ALO Thrift Shop is open every week on Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The store features men’s and women’s clothing, house wares, and decorative items, with frequent sales and merchandise turnover being its specialty.

Assistance League of Omaha is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization whose members identify, develop, implement, and fund ongoing philanthropic programs to serve the specific needs of adults and children in the Greater Omaha area.
