Suburban Rotary Club of Omaha is hosting a Silent Auction/After Hours on Thursday, April 19th to raise funds for their Scholarship Program.   Since 1978, Suburban Rotary has given nearly $600,000 in scholarships to approximately 600 students in the metro area.

The Suburban Rotary Club Charitable Foundation Scholarships consist of 10- $2500 awards each year to students in the metro area with physical or mental disabilities to allow them to continue their education after high school.   This scholarship program is the only one of its kind in the area to serve these students.

The silent auction will feature many items up for bid including a “Dinner with the Terrys” hosted by three club members named “Terry” including Congressman Lee Terry.     A drawing for a raffle grand prize for a vacation to Orlando, Florida will also be held.

The event will be held at the Upstream Legacy 17070 Wright Plaza from 6-9pm.  The public is invited to attend.  Tickets are $13 or $20 per couple in advance or $15 per person at the door.   Raffle tickets are available for $5 each.  All proceeds benefit the Scholarship Program.
