SHARE Omaha Offers Cross-River Office Hours

As a connector of the metropolitan area’s nonprofit organizations and public supporters, SHARE Omaha (SHAREomaha.org) is happily spreading the word that it is leasing physical space in both Omaha and Council Bluffs. SHARE Omaha will spend half the week at the Scott Technology Center in Omaha’s centralized Aksarben Village (6825 Pine St.) and the balance of time in Council Bluffs subleasing from The 712 Initiative (1228 S. Main St.).

SHARE Omaha had an incubation period from June 2018 through July 2019 at the Suzanne & Walter Scott Foundation offices. As both organizations’ needs evolved over the year, the opportunity to explore a creative office approach presented itself. SHARE Omaha serves an eight-county footprint: Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, and Washington counties in Nebraska and Harrison, Mills, and Pottawattamie counties in Iowa. The organization will review this pilot officially through December 2019 and will announce details of office location decisions later in the year.

SHARE Omaha hosts a robust online platform (SHAREomaha.org) that makes giving easy by connecting generous people to the greatest needs in the community. Call (402) 502-0360 with any questions.
