Septemberfest will start festivities Sunday, September 1 with the Up and Over the River Walk and Run. Runners will set the pace starting at 8:30 a.m. Walkers will have two hours to complete the course beginning at 9 a.m. Teams, families and individuals can choose to run or walk the 8K route. The run will be timed and managed by Omaha race professionals at Peak Performance. After expenses, all proceeds will be given to the Heartland Walk for Warmth to support the energy assistance programs administered by The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross.
Run registration for individuals is $30 prior to August 25 and $35 after August 25. Walk registration is $20 for an individual or a family before August 25 and $25 after August 25.
