Save the Date for Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend

The annual Jennie Edmundson Foundation (www.jehfoundation.org) fundraiser for the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Cancer Center is underway. The donations raised during this event go toward the MJE Charitable Cancer Patient Care Fund, which provides much needed financial assistance to cancer patients who are under-insured or not insured. This year’s event will take place at the Mid America Center in Council Bluffs, IA.

Each year individuals are honored who have had a cancer diagnosis, and share their amazing stories. This year’s incredible recipients are: Mark Engelke, John McCreedie, Mindy Miller and George Smith. Each year local and national sports and television celebrities are also in attendance to support the cause, adding a little excitement and humor to the event!

August 5 – Shotgun Scramble Golf Tournament (Spots filling fast!)

August 5 – Dinner, Auction (silent and live) along with recognition of the 2017 Spirit of Courage recipients.

August 6 – Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament
