The 8th Annual Wheels of Courage Car Show is revving up for another great year! The event will be held on Saturday, June 24, at Quaker Steak & Lube in Council Bluffs beginning at 11 a.m. Each year the money raised goes to benefit the Spirit of Courage Charitable Patient Care Fund at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital (jehfondation.org).
The Wheels of Courage Car Show is an exciting outdoor event open to the public. Register your car now or up until 11 a.m. on the day of the event. Judging will begin at noon with 16 judging categories. First, second and third place trophies will be awarded showcasing a variety of fantastic cars, and winners will be announced at 3 p.m.
Throughout the event, amazing auction items and unique raffle prizes will be announced. Wheels of Courage 2023 T-shirts are also available for purchase.
Many cancer patients at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital have a genuine need each year. Coping with serious illness and mounting medical bills, all at the same time, can be overwhelming. Through the Jennie Edmundson Foundation, funds raised during Wheels of Courage go to help relieve some of the financial burden for medical services, therapy, prescriptions gas/transportation and daily living expenses for these patients.
