The Sarpy Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that a new group has been formed for members: Wisdom of Women (WOW). The vision for this new group is to connect women in the Sarpy county and Omaha community through education, advocacy and leadership.
Monthly events will rotate between morning, noon and afternoon times to offer several opportunities for women to attend. The mission of WOW is to build professional and personal success through networking, education, and the support of women’s topics and interests.
The inaugural event will be held on January 27 from 4-5:30 pm at Soaring Wines Vineyard, which will give those interested a chance to see what WOW has to offer. Guest speakers for this event will be Jolene Roberts, Owner & CEO with Hillcrest Health Services and Chris Hill, President of AOI Corporation. The speakers will talk candidly about a number of topics related to women and share their personal experiences, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
