Santa Monica’s Spring Fundraiser a Success

Santa Monica (www.santamonicahouse.org) is pleased to announce that its 5th annual fundraiser, held on April 9th at the DC Center in Omaha, was a great success. The event continues to grow each year with more support from the community. The first year the organization had 64 people in attendance, and this year the crowd nearly quadrupled to 232 in attendance to support Santa Monica’s mission of helping local women.   The event empowered creativity and community; guests enjoyed a delightful lunch and Piccadilly Auction fun.  All proceeds will go towards the organization’s expansion plan, with Santa Monica’s new facility hopefully opening this summer!

Founded in 1972 Santa Monica has partnered with over 2,700 women on their journey to recovery from addiction and alcoholism. Reuniting families, reintegrating productive women to the community and providing exceptional service has been the vision of Santa Monica and continues to be for the future.
