Rejuvenating Women Holds First Graduation for Restored Wings Program
Rejuvenating Women (rejuvenatingwomen.com) is excited to announce that they held the first graduation ceremony on June 13 for their Restored Wings residential program since the official launch of the two-year program in September of 2017.
One of the many goals of Rejuvenating Women is to provide a safe and caring environment where survivors who have suffered human trafficking can begin to heal, which takes time. The Restored Wings Home is a beautiful 5,500-square-foot refuge which offers a warm and loving environment that the women call their home. Rejuvenating Women understands that healing is a process and they provide as many tools as possible to help women in this journey throughout their stay, as well as through their Aftercare Program.
Graduation is only the beginning to a life of continued healing. There is no real completion or graduation when recovering from such abuse, control, and addiction, but it does mean that these women are now truly on their own and the real journey begins.
Rejuvenating Women is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hope and restoration to victims and survivors of human trafficking by empowering survivors to lead healthy and independent lives. For more information, visit rejuvenatingwomen.com or email info@rejuvenatingwomen.org.
