Andrew Bennett, Brad Underwood and Scott Koethe with REBC | The Real Estate Brokerage Company will be participating in the annual Mustaches For Kids mustache growing event again in 2013. During the month of May, Andrew, Brad and Scott will be growing mustaches to not only look fantastic, but to raise awareness and support for Make-A-Wish Nebraska.
Mustaches for Kids Omaha is the local chapter of Mustaches for Kids, a volunteer-run organization started in Los Angeles in 1999 to do good and have fun by growing Mustaches for children’s charities. The concept is pretty simple: you get pledges/donations to grow a mustache for one month. All the money raised during this fundraiser is donated to a local children’s charity. In the past, they have partnered with Camp CoHoLo (Children’s Cancer Camp of Nebraska), Nebraska Children’s Home Society, and Children’s Respite Care Center. They have raised over $320,000 in the first four years. This year’s growing cause is Make-A-Wish Nebraska.
The Make-A-Wish Nebraska Foundation is a non-profit organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
