The Papillion Community Foundation (www.papillionfoundation.org) is delighted to award longtime Papillion volunteers Tony and Judy Larry with the annual Papillion Community Foundation Volunteers of the Year Award. The couple was honored at the annual Papillion Days Mayor’s Luncheon and served as the Grand Marshals for the Papillion Days Parade. This award is given out annually to a Papillion resident(s) that has shown dedication and commitment to the Papillion community by giving back.

Tony and Judy Larry have lived in Papillion for 20 years and in that time they have made a significant impact on their community. Married for 34 years, the couple who has two grown daughters and the family has always been actively involved in local sports. Their dedication to local youth and the Echoes Fast Pitch organization was very evident in 2007 when the couple took out a personal loan to make improvements to an existing building in Papillion and remodel it into a practice space for the Echoes teams. This space has been invaluable to the teams for practice during winter and the elements. Judy Larry works as a paraprofessional at Papillion Jr. High School and Tony Larry is the Operations Manager for Dingman’s Collision.
