Pandemic Forces CHAD to Transform 2020 Annual Meeting into Online Experience
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Combined Health Agencies Drive (CHAD) provided a virtual alternative to its 2020 annual meeting, usually an in-person event in August. CHAD President and CEO Michelle Grossman said while they missed meeting face-to-face, they were excited to offer 100% online content that viewers could browse at their leisure. Since August 24, interested parties have visited CHAD’s annual meeting website to find videos, an annual report, and other 2019-2020 campaign season highlights. The site remains accessible at CHADNebraska.org/2020-Annual-Meeting and is open to the public.
CHAD is a local, donor-designation driven organization that has been raising funds for Nebraska’s premier health charities for more than four decades. Through workplace giving, the organization not only raises funds for its 21 member charities but also promotes health and employee engagement in the workplace and connects individuals with health causes that are important to them. Donors who give during the annual statewide campaign ensure that charities are funded on a consistent basis, and 100% of donor-designated dollars go directly to full-member charities. Valuable donations help Nebraskans in need by providing care and support for those affected by a health diagnosis; funding education and prevention programs in our communities; and supporting advocacy and medical research.
