Outlook Nebraska, Inc. (ONI), a nonprofit organization providing employment and other opportunities for people who are blind and visually impaired, will hold a celebration and open house to kick off a new chapter in its history. Special recognition of Congressman Lee Terry, a wonderful supporter of ONI, the AbilityOne Program and their associates will take place during the festivities. The event will be taking place on May 24th from 4-7 p.m. at 4125 S. 72nd Street in Omaha.  Hors d’oeuvres will also be served. Established in 2000, ONI provides employment and workplace training to the blind and visually impaired in a converting operation that supplies a full line of 100 percent recycled fiber content tissue and towel products to the U.S. Government and other customers. The largest employer of the blind and visually impaired in Nebraska and the only agency of its kind in a seven-state region, ONI provides additional services for its employees, including social activities, education, training and health and wellness programs.
