Outlook Nebraska Extends Invitation to Visually Impaired Community Resource Fair
Outlook Nebraska (outlookne.org/resourcefair) is hosting the Visually Impaired Community Resource Fair on April 14 and 15 at Baxter Arena. The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. Outlook Nebraska encourages people experiencing vision loss or who know someone who is experiencing vision loss to attend.
Attendees will find:
- People who understand what it is like to have vision loss.
- Tools that will help you at home and on the job such as computer screen readers, magnifying devices, and apps to help you read restaurant menus.
- People who help with job training, placement and transportation.
- Resources for parents.
- Free vision screenings for children courtesy of area Lions Clubs.
