Outlook Nebraska Announces Tee It Up Fore Sight Fundraiser, Offers Blind Golfer Academy

Outlook Nebraska’s (outlookne.org) annual Tee It Up Fore Sight fundraiser to benefit Outlook Enrichment Programs will take place on Thursday, June 6 at Indian Creek Golf Course (3825 N. 202nd St., Elkhorn). This 18-round game will be a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 12-noon. Registration includes golf, lunch, and dinner. Registration will go from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be 11 a.m. to noon.

In addition, whether you are new to vision loss or are visually impaired and love golf, Outlook Nebraska’s Blind Golfer Academy is for you! On Thursday, June 7, from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Indian Creek Golf Course, come learn chipping, putting, and swinging techniques from adaptive sports specialists and local golf pros. Master your golf swing before trying it out on the links. The only requirement to participate in the clinic is to enjoy golf.

The mission of Outlook Nebraska is to positively impact everyone who is blind or visually impaired. This is done through robust employment opportunities, adaptive technology training, recreational programs, cultural experiences, community education and collaborative programs that allow people to meet others with similar situations and open a world of organizations that are around to help.

Tee It Up Fore Sight is still looking for sponsors, and they will work with you to find an amount that fits your budget. More information and registration for either of the events listed above can be found at outlookne.org. Contact Donna Faust Aman at (402) 614-3331 with any questions.
