October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, an annual recognition of the positive impact of people with disabilities in the American workforce. Outlook Enrichment (outlooken.org/oe/) is breaking down barriers to employment for individuals who are blind or visually impaired through its comprehensive Work Readiness program.

Outlook Enrichment is part of Outlook Collaborative, a family of not-for-profit Omaha-based organizations that includes Outlook Nebraska, the largest employer of people who are blind or visually impaired in Nebraska and the surrounding seven-state region. While Outlook Nebraska offers employment opportunities, Outlook Enrichment focuses on empowering the low vision community by raising the quality of life through events, focused programs and more.

Outlook Enrichment’s Work Readiness program helps clients build the life skills and confidence needed to pursue meaningful career opportunities. Participants gain the tools to navigate today’s job market through services such as career planning, interview coaching, benefits counseling, overcoming transportation barriers, and support for both employees and employers in the workplace.

The night will be filled with inspiration and connection. Registration and information are available at this link: outlooken.org/event/vision-beyond-sight-2025-gala/.
