September 9–11: Serving Up Support for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Outlook Enrichment (outlooken.org) and Villagio Pizzeria (6922 N. 102nd Circle, Omaha, NE 68122) are teaming up to bring the community together for Pies & Pasta with Purpose, a three-day fundraising event benefiting individuals who are blind or visually impaired. From Sept. 9–11, a portion of ALL sales (dine-in and takeout) will be donated to Outlook Enrichment to help fund programs and resources for people living with vision loss. Please note: third-party delivery orders through DoorDash, GrubHub, etc. are excluded.
Everyone is invited to join for great food and fun at Villagio Pizzeria — community members, Outlook supporters, and anyone who loves great food for a great cause. Guests can enjoy interactive activities like a blind putting game and prize wheel throughout the event.
Villagio Pizzeria has been family-owned and operated since its opening in 2013. Today, Quinn Stuart, son of founder Tim Stuart, continues the tradition of quality Italian food and community connection. The Stuart family is passionate about giving back, especially to causes that hit close to home.
“My dad lives with a visual impairment, so we know firsthand how important Outlook Enrichment’s work is,” said Quinn Stuart. ”We love being part of their mission to help people adapt and thrive after vision loss, and this event is a great way for us to celebrate that while serving our food to the community.”
