Open Door Mission is set to host its annual Mission Possible run/walk event on June 7th, which will be held at the Shadow Lake Towne Center (outside of Dick’s Sporting Goods), located at 72nd Street & Hwy 30 in Papillion. Adults and children ages 6 and up are welcome to participate; the course is stroller friendly along pavement and trails. Entry fee is $25 for the 5K course and $35 for the 10K. Participants will receive a commemorative event t-shirt at check-in, and special awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K in different age groups as well as for the top overall male and female winners. To register, visit www.opendoormission.org/mission-possible. Shirt deadline for registration is May 15th.

Volunteers are also needed to help with set-up, packet pick-up, refreshments, course monitoring—and as cheerleaders too! Volunteer hours are available anytime between 1 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on race day. For more information, please contact Victoria Leuthold at (402) 829-1505.
