Open Door Mission (www.opendoormission.org) is in need of volunteers to help at the Diaper Unloading Party on Thursday, December 28, at 10 a.m. on the Open Door Mission campus. Volunteers will help unload and sort all of the diapers collected at the Channel 94.1 Diaper Drive held December 8-9.

Channel 94.1 is holding their Annual Diaper Drive at the Linden Market Hy-Vee on December 8 and 9, where they will collect diapers from individuals, families, groups and businesses that stop by. The diapers will be given to parents experiencing homelessness at Lydia House and given out in Open Door Mission’s Outreach Centers as part of Homeless Prevention. Volunteers are needed to bundle up and help unload the diapers from the Werner trucks and help sort them on the Open Door Mission Campus. The Diaper Unloading Party includes soup and hot chocolate for volunteers.
