In its 18th year, the annual golf fundraiser held by Omaha Truck Center, Inc. on Friday at Tiburon Golf Club broke a new record, raising $132,840 for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska. That’s the equivalent of almost 20 wishes for kids with life-threatening medical conditions.

Since the event began in 1994, OTC, Inc. has raised $1,365,402 for the charity, making it Make-A-Wish Nebraska’s largest outside contributor.

This year’s event featured Wish Kid Hope Weber, who explained to everyone present how much getting her wish granted meant to her and kids like her.
