Omaha Home for Boys Expands Programming to Fill Critical Community Need

Omaha Home for Boys (www.OmahaHomeForBoys.org) is excited to announce the addition of two new programs that expand its continuum of care for youth, young adults, and families. Supportive Housing and a Clinical Services Program both launched in late 2018.

The new Supportive Housing Program provides affordable, safe, temporary housing to young adults who lack support and independent living skills. Supportive Housing is a true independent living program where young men and women are surrounded by on-site support services to help them advance their careers, achieve their academic goals, and develop the necessary skills to lead independent, productive lives.

Also launching in late 2018 was Omaha Home for Boys new Clinical Services Program that provides a number of behavioral and mental health services. Services provided on site at the Home’s main campus include day reporting, intensive outpatient programs, evaluations, and outpatient programs. Community based services include intensive family preservation and family support.

Both new programs increase the number of individuals served by Omaha Home for Boys, as well as meet a critical need in the community.

“The Home’s Clinical Services Program helps fill the void of intensive outpatient services in North Omaha and also fills the high community need for in-home and prevention services that allow young people to avoid detention centers or out-of-home placements while receiving treatment,” said Brandy Gustoff, innovative growth leader at Omaha Home for Boys.
