Omaha Concert on May 21 to Honor Fallen Military Members, Families
The Honor and Remember Flag Nebraska Chapter (www.honorandremember.org) invites the public to a concert to honor fallen members of the military and their families on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 21 at 7 p.m. It will be held in the Holland Performing Arts Center-Kiewit Hall, 1200 Douglas Street, Omaha. The public also is invited to join the 6th annual Families of the Fallen Walk at 6:15 p.m., which will start at Building 1 on the ConAgra campus.
The concert will feature Billy McGuigan and Jimmy Weber, musicians who entertain audiences coast-to-coast with a blend of patriotic, rock and roll and country songs. Tickets are $60 for orchestra level, $50 for Tier1, and $40 for Tier 2. However, because of the gift of an anonymous donor, 600 tickets are available at a 40 percent discount.Funds will be used to purchase Honor and Remember flags, host the annual Families of the Fallen gathering, dinner and walk and other events that honor the fallen.
