ConAgra Foods will host a Green Team Roundtable from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th at their headquarters, 11 ConAgra Drive, Omaha. Pre-registration and payment are required by Friday, November 9th at www.wastecapne.org/greenteams/. Cost is $10 or $8 for WasteCap Nebraska and Green Omaha Council members. A zero waste lunch is included. Marcella Thompson, Director Sustainability, Environmental, Health and Safety, will discuss her process for gathering data and compiling an annual report for the Global Reporting Initiative. Open discussion will follow.
Green Team Roundtables are peer-to-peer networking meetings facilitated by WasteCap Nebraska staff and open to business owners, managers, green team members and individuals with an interest in learning more about sustainable business practices. Meetings begin with networking and introductions, followed by presentations and discussion.
