As the new year begins, Outlook Enrichment (outlooken.org/oe/contact) is providing multiple ways to give back in 2026. Donating time, talent and treasure will help people living with vision loss achieve their goals.

Join Friends of Outlook, a passionate group dedicated to supporting the organization’s mission through event planning, fundraising and volunteer opportunities. Whether you’re skilled at organizing, love pitching in or enjoy connecting with others, there’s a place for you on the Friends of Outlook team.

Ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteer at events and community outreach efforts
  • Help plan fundraisers and special events
  • Advocate for our mission and spread awareness

Monetary contributions help provide essential tools like white canes, adaptive technology, and life skills training that empower people who are blind or visually impaired to live more independently and confidently. Volunteers can make an impact by assisting with events or guiding someone who’s blind or visually impaired as they experience something new, sometimes for the very first time.

Outlook Enrichment helps neighbors living with vision loss and blindness live independently, confidently engage in their communities and continue doing the things they love. With about 15,000 youth and adults experiencing significant vision loss in Omaha, the need for Outlook Enrichment’s programs has never been greater.
