The NeighborGood Community Pantry NeighborGood Capital Campaign Committee is looking to build momentum. In 2023, the Sarpy County Board of Commissioners voted to approve an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocation of $400,000 to NeighborGood Community Pantry (neighborgoodpantry.org), formerly Tri City Pantry, to assist them in their campaign for the building of a new space to serve the residents of Sarpy County and Ralston.

This grant will be applied towards the Pantry’s Growing to Give Campaign, which seeks to raise $5 million towards the construction of a 10,000-square-foot facility on American Parkway in Papillion. This facility will allow the space and delivery mechanisms needed for an ever-expanding number of families in Sarpy County and surrounding communities.

NeighborGood is planning for a Spring groundbreaking. For more information, contact NeighborGood Executive Director Melissa Nelson at neighborgoodcommunitypantry@gmail.com.

NeighborGood serves those in need in the greater Sarpy County and Ralston community. NeighborGood provides non-perishable groceries, pet food, paper products, hygiene items, diapers and more.
