Nebraska’s Animal Loving Advocates Finds Homes for More than 675 Animals in 2020
Nebraska’s Animal Loving Advocates (NALA, www.nalarescue.org) successfully found forever homes for more than 675 homeless animals in 2020. Led by Angie Hospodka and her army of volunteers, the Omaha-based animal-rescue organization saves animals from across the country. They provide shelter, medical coverage, nutrition, and plenty of love to animals that are in desperate situations, and find safe forever homes for them. NALA could not exist without the tireless efforts of volunteers and the generous contributions from donors.
The mission of Nebraska’s Animal Loving Advocates is to revolutionize the way people think about animals and animal rescues. They educate people about the dangers of puppy mills and the realities of backyard breeders in their effort to provide loving homes to all of the dogs they encounter, including the feral, the unwanted, the damaged, and the lost. NALA believes that every living thing not only deserves love but also has so much love to offer. They accomplish their mission through their core values of love for all living things and faith that they can change our culture and create a world where rescues are no longer needed.
