The Nebraska Sports Council (nebraskasportscouncil.com) is closing out a busy September and gearing up for an exciting fall filled with competition across the state.

The Lincoln and Omaha Corporate Games brought together dozens of companies and thousands of employees for friendly competition and wellness activities. Teams competed in a variety of sports and wellness challenges while also contributing to community food drives that supported local families in need. The Corporate Games continue to highlight how friendly competition can foster healthier workplaces and stronger community ties.

Up next is Nebraska NetFest, a recreational volleyball and pickleball tournament set for October 18-19 at the brand-new Kearney Sports Plex. Designed as a fun and inclusive event, NetFest will welcome players of all skill levels to enjoy two of Nebraska’s fastest-growing sports. The tournament format allows for both competitive and recreational play, giving participants a chance to stay active, connect with others, and experience the new state-of-the-art Sports Plex facility.

The fall schedule continues with the Heartland Havoc Wrestling Tournament, taking place November 8–9 at the Sandhills Global Event Center. This two-day tournament will include both dual and individual divisions, creating opportunities for wrestlers across multiple age groups to compete in a premier setting.

The Nebraska Sports Council thanks its sponsors, partners and volunteers for making these events possible. More information and registration details are available at nebraskasportscouncil.com.
