The council witnessed strategic promotions, new hires and years of service. Recent team additions include Luke Mieska as Director of Events and Alayna Bergt as Assistant Director of Operations.
Ashley Kramer, in her fifth year, ascends to Director of Operations, showcasing her versatility in marketing and event logistics. Long-serving members Scott Ash and Pat “Linus” Hagedorn, with 30 and 28 years of service, respectively, receive well-deserved promotions. Ash’s extensive experience in sports management and event execution has been integral to the council’s success, while Hagedorn’s commitment to community engagement and partnership-building has played a pivotal role in shaping the council’s growth and impact.
Jess Framke’s impending one-year milestone as Director of Administration underscores ongoing internal cohesion efforts. These appointments reflect the NSC’s commitment to legacy and future growth, combining fresh perspectives and seasoned expertise.
In a recent development, Scott Haas, Division Director for Orthopedics at CHI Health, assumes the role of the 17th Chairman, succeeding Rob Trebilcock, Senior Manager – Public Affairs at Cox Communications. Also elected as officers were Amy Reynoldson, Vice Chair, Executive Vice President – Nebraska Medical Association; and Aaron Sundberg, Secretary/Treasurer, Loan Officer – Pinnacle Bank. Newly elected Board members include Kimberly Barrett, Wellbeing Consultant at Ameritas; Derek Bombeck, Sports Director at Visit Lincoln; Miranda Long, Aquatics Director at the Fremont YMCA’s Dillon Aquatic Center; and Claire Reeves, an attorney with Bruning Law Group.
