Nebraska Recycling Council to Host Earth Day Collection Event April 27

The Nebraska Recycling Council (www.nrcne.org) is hosting a Collection for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM) on Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to noon at Nebraska Innovation Campus (NIC) in conjunction with Lincoln Earth Day. Vehicles will enter NIC from the eastern-most entrance off Salt Creek Roadway.

Electronics, including CRT monitors, will be collected free of charge (TVs will be an additional charge; no microwaves will be accepted). A document shredding truck will be present to shred personal documents. Rechargeable batteries and many household goods, including furniture, small appliances, shoes and clothing will also be accepted. Volunteers will be present to unload vehicles.
