Nebraska Humane Society (NHS) (nehumanesociety.org) would like to announce their 7,000th adoption. A pup named Coleslaw left the building not only with a new owner, but also a goodie bag full of treats, toys and a nice soft blanket! Nebraska Humane Society would like to thank everyone who has adopted, fostered, volunteered, donated and supported NHS and their mission this year. They couldn’t do it without you. Congratulations Coleslaw and the new happy family!

The Nebraska Humane Society protects, saves and enriches the lives of animals in the communities they serve. They provide education, give sanctuary to animals, encourage adoptions and promote responsible pet ownership. NHS knows that providing a good home for every pet requires a host of hands-on programs for pets and their people. Learn more and find out what it takes to adopt at nehumanesociety.org.
