Nebraska Community Foundation to Hold 2021 Annual Celebration in McCook

On Thursday, November 18, Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF; NebraskaHometown.org) will hold its biggest event of the year – the 2021 Annual Celebration and Training!

All are invited to join hundreds of the most ambitious and dedicated Nebraskans to share ideas, learn from one another, and work together to achieve our dreams. In 2021, the focus will be unleashing the active hope that is fueling a movement to better our Nebraska hometowns. Attendees are encouraged to bring their most audacious ideas, unbridled optimism, and boldest vision for a brighter future.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the evening celebration has been reimagined as a unique “Night on the Bricks” experience celebrating McCook and Southwest Nebraska. To allow for social distancing, the event will take place in multiple locations throughout downtown McCook and will feature countless opportunities to taste, see, and feel Southwest Nebraska. The NCF network granted over $28 million last year. These investments are creating a “margin of excellence” in our hometowns that will attract people, improve quality of life, and increase prosperity – like early childhood development, community infrastructure, leadership development, youth engagement, arts and culture, small business support, K-12 curriculum enhancements, and improvements in safety, health, and wellness.

Nebraska Community Foundation unleashes abundant local assets, inspires charitable giving, and connects ambitious people to build stronger communities and a Greater Nebraska. For information, visit NebraskaHometown.org or call (402) 323-7330.
