Nebraska Brewing Company will host the powerful conclusion of the sixth annual 50 Mile March, Operation Home Base (50milemarch.org) with the “Welcome Home” Landing Celebration, sponsored by Better Home and Gardens – The Good Life Group.
The 50 Mile March Foundation’s mission is to empower veterans facing mental health challenges and homelessness by fostering a community of hope and relentless support. Funds raised by each year’s march support the organization’s grantmaking efforts and the Community of Hope campus project in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Event Highlights:
- Date: Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025
- Time: Venue opens at 10 a.m.; March caravan arrives at 12:15 p.m.
- Livestream: The full 50 Mile March event will be streamed live at 50milemarch.tv, beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, and concluding around 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24.
Impact & Participation:
- Nearly 200 marchers and 100 volunteers will complete the grueling 22-hour journey (about 120,000+ steps) from Walton, Nebraska, to La Vista, symbolizing solidarity with veterans.
