NAM Announces Brain Buzz Workshops to Spark Creative Workforce Problem Solving

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM, nonprofitam.org) is excited to introduce Brain Buzz, a series of webinar workshops that bring together a community of caring and open-minded business and organization leaders to apply creativity to real problems. Facilitated by Gilbert + Chittenden, the workshops will help business operators plan for “the next normal.” Participants will share creative techniques for applied problem solving to get out of a rut; help leaders and staff navigate the uncertainty and demands of today while planning for the future; and strengthen networks through supportive, stimulating conversation.

Brain Buzz sessions are available Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays from November 16 to December 9. Participants will learn new creative techniques that can be applied to strategic and tactical initiatives, and they will practice deeper listening and empathizing skills with talented and supportive colleagues. By taking turns sharing specific challenges and working across boundaries, participants will help one another think differently. Brain Buzz is geared to spark creative problem-solving abilities and help foster them to succeed in the new, uncharted territory of the COVID-19 workforce.

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands is a state association that represents more than 650 nonprofit organizations in Nebraska and Southwest Iowa. They strengthen the collective voice, leadership, and capacity of nonprofits to enrich the quality of community life. To maximize interactions, Brain Buzz sessions will be limited to 20 participants. Register at www.nonprofitam.org/events; the cost is $99 for members and $198 for nonmembers.
