MVP4Life (www.mvp4life.org) in partnership with The Strike Zone (www.strikezoneomaha.com), is sponsoring a golf tournament to benefit the Upper Deck League on Saturday August 1st at Dodge Riverside Golf Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The event will be run as a 2-Man Scramble, with a 12:00 p.m. shotgun start. Participants will also get a gift bag, lunch, dinner, and beer. The cost is $90/player, $160/twosome, or $280/foursome. A Bonus MVP4Life Golf Hat will be given to those who register before June 18.
MVP4Life is a non-profit organization that teaches youth life skills through the game of baseball. MVP4Life youth participate in a comprehensive program of baseball and life skills training that promote the physical, educational, and life skills necessary to prepare them for leadership in their community and success in their personal lives. The organization offers programs that teach youth how to accept situations, set and achieve goals, celebrate well deserved wins, and put disappointments in perspective. They strive to make a difference in young people’s lives by providing them with the tools needed to make a “home run” in life.
