As their mission is to “relentlessly pursue opportunities that empower people,” Mosaic’s (mosaicinfo.org) ultimate goal is to help the people it serves to direct their own lives and make their own choices that reflect personal goals and desires.
Since the start of Mosaic in 1913, volunteers have been the heart and core of what they do to help create meaningful lives for individuals in their services with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Volunteers “are the sweetest” and sweeten the lives of those individuals in their services.
Mosaic wishes to thank all of the volunteers that made this past year special with some of the many projects including, but not limited to their annual Inclusion Matters Picnic, Holiday Party, holiday decorating, Day at Camp, crafting, card making and thank-a-thon.
There are a variety of ways to volunteer and Mosaic would love to have you join them in furthering their mission. Interested? Come and learn more at a Discover the Possibilities tour on Wednesday, April 9. To RSVP, contact Jessica Westerlin at (402) 315-4302 or at jessica.westerlin@mosaicinfo.org.
