Midlands Community Foundation is pleased to announce that its MCF Matching Charitable Program that ran from December 1, 2013, through January 5, 2014, raised more than $153,000.  These donations were contributed to 33 established funds at Midlands Community Foundation and its Affiliated Funds.

Under the Matching Charitable Program, MCF provided matching funds for new contributions made to existing and newly created Designated Funds, Field of Interest Funds and Affiliated General Funds (Donor Advised Funds were not eligible for the match).  Matching donations were made on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to a limit of $5,000 per donor, and subject to a maximum of $25,000 of matching dollars being available in the aggregate for all MCF Funds and an additional $25,000 being available for each MCF Affiliate’s Funds in Bellevue, Gretna and Springfield.  Based on the program guidelines, Midlands Community Foundation Funds and its Affiliated Funds received matching dollars totaling more than $67,000.
