The overwhelming success of the Stuff the Truck donation drive for MICAH House (www.themicahhouse.org), hosted by Jennie Edmundson Hospital and sponsored by Methodist Health Systems and 6 News WOWT, surpassed all expectations. Volunteers from both the hospital and the shelter worked tirelessly to gather over 4,000 pounds of food, over 100 pounds in toiletries a heartwarming collection of over 600 toys. The immense public response necessitated multiple trips by the MICAH House truck between the donation point and the Lakin Campus, underscoring the community’s incredible generosity and solidarity in contributing to those in need during the holiday season.
