MICAH House Presents Kicks for Kids, Providing Shoes for Homeless Students
Kicks for Kids, hosted by 89.7 The River, provides new shoes to every student and child living at MICAH House (www.themicahhouse.org), a homeless shelter for children, families, and women located in Council Bluffs. When children are prepared for school, they are more focused and motivated to do well. Your donation of a new pair of shoes can help give kids the confidence they need on the first day of school!
Donations of new and used shoes of all sizes and styles will be collected until August 11 at the following locations:
- CW15 at 4625 Farnam St., Omaha
- Raising Cane’s at 2424 W. Broadway, Council Bluffs
- Omaha Virtual Reality at 2814 N. 60th St., Omaha
Every student going back to school this fall deserves the opportunity to start the new year on the right foot. If your organization would like to host a drive, please contact Kate Meyer at kmeyer@themicahhouse.org.
