Marchi Gras, a fundraiser for the Sunshine Kids Foundation, will be held March 9th and 10th at Bushwackers Dance Hall & Saloon.
The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a non-profit, nationwide organization established in 1982, dedicated to children with cancer. They are committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs, trips, and events, free of charge for these wonderful children. Locally and regionally, the Sunshine Kids help the cancer patients at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and The Nebraska Medical Center, adding quality of life and a reason for celebration, in spite of their serious health concerns.
During last year’s Marchi Gras event, over $4000 was raised for the organization. The goal for Marchi Gras4 is to raise over $10,000 to help these inspiring kids. Marchi Gras4 is an 80’s-themed party, a two-day live rock music event, with a silent auction, catered food, autograph signing by famous athletes, and much, much more.
