The Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska is proud to announce “Fandango on the Fairway”, a fundraiser that is organized by members of the Forever Families Guild. This year’s theme encourages attendees to wear their favorite golf-themed or casual attire to the event on Friday, February 21 at Indian Creek Golf Course, located at 3825 North 202nd Street in Elkhorn. Tickets for this event costs $100 per person and the fundraiser will kick off at 6:00 pm with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner, a program and the live auction starting at 7:30pm. Fandango Dinner & Auction raises funds to support the critical life-saving work in Children Services offered at the North Omaha Center for Healthy Families. The North Omaha Center is one of three Centers for Healthy Families® operated by LFS. In addition to these holistic prevention and intervention services, on any given day LFS also has open case files on another 2,000 children statewide. Some of these children are in LFS’s RSafe® program, foster care, or seeking therapy for trauma, mental illness or behavioral challenges.
