Lily Haven (lilyhaven.org) continues to build meaningful partnerships across the community as Executive Director Sarina Thoendel meets with local businesses and organizations to raise awareness and strengthen support for survivors of human trafficking.

Through a series of presentations and conversations with business leaders, Thoendel is helping organizations better understand the realities of trafficking while encouraging companies to becomepart of the solution. These discussions focus on separating common myths from reality, recognizing how trafficking can impact communities, and identifying practical ways businesses can support prevention, awareness, and survivor recovery.

The outreach effort also provides an opportunity to share Lily Haven’s progress toward opening a safe residential home for teen girls who have experienced trafficking. The future home will offer a supportive, trauma-informed environment where residents can rebuild stability through education, life-skills development, and long-term support.

By engaging local businesses and community leaders, Lily Haven is working to build a network of advocates committed to creating safer communities for vulnerable youth. Partnerships formed through these conversations help expand awareness while strengthening the foundation of support needed as the organization moves closer to launching its residential program.

Through continued collaboration with businesses and community partners, Lily Haven hopes to create lasting impact and greater opportunities for healing and hope. More information available at lilyhaven.org.
