La Vista Community Foundation Awards Grant Funds to Local Organizations

La Vista Community Foundation (LVCF; LaVistaCommunityFoundation.com) awarded grant funds to eight worthy organizations that boost personal and community empowerment in the La Vista area. The award ceremony took place on December 12, 2018. Over $10,000 in grant dollars were given to these organizations that work to make a difference in the La Vista community and the lives of residents living in this growing city.

The funds distributed will assist over 2,000 La Vista citizens through programs offered by the recipient organizations. The agencies receiving funds are La Vista Recreation Department’s Spread the Warmth Coat Drive, Project SEARCH, Schools Camp Summer Success, College Possible, La Vista Public Library, Project Healing Waters, and Tri-City Food Pantry.

The La Vista Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that exists to improve the quality of life where people live, work, and play in La Vista.
