Kids Can Community Center Receives $10K Donation from Pacific Life

Kids Can Community Center (kidscan.org) was honored to accept a $10,000 dollar donation from Pacific Life on January 15. Funds will be used to support the STEMsmart Academy Program. Kids Can created their signature STEMsmart Academy program to provide hands-on learning to support children’s academic and social skills growth in the areas of science, technology, engineering, math, strength, music, art, reading, and tutoring. All students who participate in one of Kids Can’s five locations engage with the STEMsmart Academy daily. The money donated will go towards new technology, tools, and experiences for these students.

Kids Can’s mission is to educate, engage, and inspire children through early childhood care and out-of-school experiences. They are a leading provider in education for children ages 18 months to 13 years old. They offer full-day early childhood education and out-of-school programs that focus on developing new skills, building knowledge of the world, and encouraging positive behaviors.
