KANEKO Presents 6th Annual Fundraiser, Open Space Soirée
KANEKO (thekaneko.org) is proud to present its sixth annual Open Space Soirée on Friday, September 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Open Space Soirée is KANEKO’s only annual fundraising event, with all proceeds benefiting their community programming. Gather for an evening to explore their mission through stunning visual art and a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Ticket are $75 for young professional (ages 35 and younger) and $175 for general admission.
This year, the Soirée Planning Committee is led by Honorary Chair Mike Yanney and Event Co-Chairs Karen Borchert and Erika Conces.
This Soirée will mark the opening of the Influence exhibition, which will examine KANEKO’s history and hold a mirror up to the community to see how they benefit from living within a creative environment. The evening will ask what people see when they reflect back on the path they’ve taken because of their own influences, explore the connections they’ve made, what has inspired them, what has healed them, and the potential for what is to come.
KANEKO is a nonprofit arts and culture organization dedicated to encouraging the creative process and how creativity impacts lives. Established by internationally renowned sculptor Jun Kaneko and his wife, Ree, KANEKO was conceived as an “open space for your mind,” a place where thoughtful examination of the creative process through exhibitions and public programming leads individuals to new and exciting ideas.
