Project Harmony (projectharmony.com) will host its signature event, Speaking of Children, April 22–23. The two-day conference and keynote luncheon aim to inspire andeducate the community in the fight
against child abuse while engaging participants in Project Harmony’s efforts to end child abuse and neglect.
The event features plenary presentations and breakout sessions for professionals in law enforcement, social work, medicine, advocacy, education and mental health. Kevin McNeil, a child abuse survivor and retired detective, will deliver the keynote address at the luncheon on April 23, sharing his story of perseverance in the face of unimaginable adversity.
While focused on professional development in child welfare, the conference and keynote luncheon are open to all community members.
